# Delete a video by ID

`DELETE /api/plugins/videos/{id}`

Deletes a video record from the system based on the provided ID.

Authentication: no security requirement declared for this operation.

Parameters:

- `id` (path, string, required)
  Type: string

Responses:

- 200: The video has been successfully deleted.

- 403: User does not have permission to delete videos.

- 404: Video record not found.
