# Import a document into AI knowledge.

`POST /api/plugins/docs/documents/{id}/knowledge/import`

Authentication: no security requirement declared for this operation.

Parameters:

- `id` (path, string, required)
  Type: string

Responses:

- 200: Document queued (or already in knowledge).

- 409: Not indexable / not READY.
