# Get the breadcrumb path of a document (unreadable ancestors masked).

`GET /api/plugins/docs/documents/{id}/path`

Authentication: no security requirement declared for this operation.

Parameters:

- `id` (path, string, required)
  Type: string

Responses:

- 200: Breadcrumb segments, root first.

- 404: Document not found.
